USG Introduces Hoop Hype XL | College Basketball Showcase
Houston, TX (July 16, 2020) - U-Sports Group will roll out the second entry in its signature collection of collegiate sporting events this winter with the debut of Hoop Hype XL | College Basketball Showcase (@HoopHypeXL). The early-season neutral-site event will take place Friday, November 13th in Dallas-Fort Worth (TX).

Hoop Hype XL | College Basketball Showcase will be highlighted by the Big 12's Oklahoma State Cowboys taking on the defending Conference USA Champion North Texas Mean Green. The second game of the double-header will be announced at a later date.

The charitable component for Hoop Hype XL | College Basketball Showcase will be a community initiative called Athletes Against Abuse [a3]. The [a3] Initiative, in connection with U-Sports Group, will strive to blur the lines between sport and service, inspiring athletes to use their talent, notoriety and influence to improve the lives of those around them.

The Battleground 2k20 Combines Competition & Community
Houston, TX (July 1, 2020) - U-Sports Group will again bring high-level college basketball to Houston (TX) this winter with the return of The Battleground 2k20 (@Battleground2k). The neutral-site double-header will take place Friday, December 18th at Toyota Center. The four men's collegiate basketball programs participating in The Battleground 2k20 include Texas, Texas A&M, Louisiana Tech and Boise State.

The Battleground 2k20 event slate will present intriguing match-ups, led by the Texas A&M Aggies (SEC) taking on the Boise State Broncos (Mountain West), followed by a match-up between the Texas Longhorns (Big 12) and the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs (C-USA).

The backdrop for The Battleground 2k20 will be a campaign called Athletes Against Abuse [a3]. The [a3] Initiative, in connection with U-Sports Group, will strive to blur the lines between sport and service, inspiring athletes to use their talent, notoriety and influence to improve the lives of those around them.

The Battleground 2k19 Triple-Header to Air on ESPN Networks
Houston, TX (December 12, 2019) - Each game of The Battleground 2k19 college basketball neutral-site triple-header will air on the ESPN family of networks live from the Toyota Center Wednesday, December 18th.

The Battleground 2k19, which will feature six NCAA Division I men's basketball programs, kicks off at 4:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday with Oregon State vs. The University of Texas-San Antonio (UTSA) on ESPN3. That game is followed by Utah State vs. South Florida at 6:45 p.m. CT on ESPN3 and the event concludes with the AP Top 25 Poll's No. 11 ranked Baylor vs. UT Martin at 9 p.m. CT on ESPNU.

Two of the top teams participating in The Battleground 2k19, #17 Baylor and #18 Utah State, are ranked in ESPN.com's Way-Too-Early Top 25, while South Florida and Oregon State are viewed by many as Top 50-caliber teams this season. Additionally, UTSA is highlighted in Mid-Major Madness' The Other Top 25... and UT Martin has made significant upgrades to its roster and could be one of the big surprises in college basketball this season.

The Battleground 2k19 event slate will present intriguing match-ups, led by the Big 12 powerhouse Baylor Bears taking on the UT Martin Skyhawks out of the Ohio Valley.
